Claire Mayers

Claire Mayers is the owner and Principal Speech Pathologist at Chattabout Speech Pathology.  Claire graduated from the University of Queensland with a Masters of Speech Pathology Studies in 2010 after completing a Bachelor of Science with a major in Psychology.  She has over 12 years experience working as a Speech Pathologist and Senior Speech Pathologist across Queensland and Western Australia within hospital and community settings.  Claire has worked at some of the largest disability service providers in Australia, providing quality individual and group therapy services and supervising and providing support to other Speech Pathologists and Speech Pathology students.  Claire has extensive experience working with children with complex needs, supporting them to reach their individual NDIS goals. Claire has worked for several years in a Senior Speech Pathologist Clinical Lead role working with children who are fussy eaters and require support to eat and drink safely.  Claire is skilled in assessment of tongue and lip-tie. She has extensive experience in this area and loves working with families to support happy and harmonious mealtimes.

Claire offers Hanen: More Than Words® groups, SoundsWrite® individual and group intervention, Lidcombe® Stuttering therapy and has completed mealtime, swallowing and tongue-tie and lip training. Claire formerly worked within the In-Home Baby Support Service (IBIS) and offers early language therapy to very young children and their families.  Claire has completed workshops targeting: early language stimulation, phonology, articulation and global developmental delay and these are areas of special interest for Claire.    

Being a mother of three young children, Claire understands the challenges of balancing therapy commitments and family life.  She is supportive of family-centred practice and always strives to support each family’s individual needs and goals.

Megan Moloney

Megan is a Senior Speech Pathologist at Chattabout Speech Pathology.  Megan graduated from the University of Queensland with a Masters of Speech Pathology Studies in 2010 after completing a Bachelor of Nutrition at QUT.   She has over 12 years experience working as a Speech Pathologist and Senior Speech Pathologist across Queensland in the Education Setting.  Megan has extensive experience at providing quality individual and group therapy services and supervising and providing support to other Speech Pathologists and Speech Pathology students.  Megan has extensive experience working with children within schools.

Megan offers Social Skills groups, SoundsWrite® individual and group intervention and has completed workshops targeting: early language stimulation, literacy, phonology, articulation and global developmental delay and these are areas of special interest for Megan
